Holiday Programmes
A great way to reach people with the Good News of Jesus Christ is by holding a Holiday Programme in your church. All ages can be involved; whether it's writing name tags, baking for morning tea, pouring drinks, assisting with the programme, counselling or praying with a child.
Following is an example of a Programme Outline:
10:00 Registrations
10:00 Games
10:15 Morning tea
10:20 Welcome/Introduction/Rules/Prayer Singing
10:35 Board Game
10:40 Object Lesson
10:44 Sword drill
10:52 Serial story
10:59 Memory verse
11:10 Teaching
11:17 Mr Squirt
11:19 Story
11:35 Quiz
11:45 Craft
We have had the privilege of regularly working with Shiloh Church in Mangere and Auckland Christian Mandarin Church. We are encouraged when we see many of the children who made decisions to follow Christ over the years, now actively involved in the Holiday Programme as leaders.
If you are interested in starting a Holiday Programme in your church, feel free to contact us. We like to assist the church in running the programme and teach the church members so that they have the tools to eventually run their own Holiday Programme.
